You'll be just a little behind, and then someone will trip over a cord and send your machine crashing to the ground at just the wrong angle to bust the SSD, and now you're an additional two weeks behind. It's not a question of 'if' but 'when', and unless you plan to retire in the next few years, 'when' will matter a lot. You'll understand when one day your programming machine decides not to boot.
